We’re Hiring: Administrator to Support Our Growing Foundation

The Reece Foundation is excited to announce a new opportunity for a proactive and highly organised Administrator to join us on a full-time basis. This is a six-month contract role, with the potential to become permanent, offering a chance to play a key part in shaping the foundation’s grant-making processes and governance support.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in establishing and managing our administrative and financial systems, tracking payments, and processing grant applications. You will also provide vital secretarial and administrative support to our Chair, Board of Trustees, and sub-committees, including the Ouse Burn Way project board.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and maintain efficient administrative and financial systems

  • Manage day-to-day operations, including correspondence, filing, and record keeping

  • Provide secretarial support to the Board of Trustees, including minute-taking, meeting coordination, and preparation of board papers

  • Ensure compliance with governance and regulatory requirements

  • Liaise with applicants, grantees, and external stakeholders

  • Monitor budgets and process payments

What you’ll need:

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills, preferably with experience in a charitable or grant-making environment

  • Bookkeeping or financial administration experience

  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently

Role details:

  • Full-time (35 hours per week)

  • Salary: £40,000 – £45,000

  • Initial 6-month contract with possibility of permanent employment

  • Remote working with occasional in-person attendance at trustee and committee meetings
